Marion-Franklin Recreation/Senior Center: 2801 Lockbourne Road. The community recreation center is a great place to learn about the residence that live in our community. Youth have the opportunity to register for scheduled activities. and programs offered by the City of Columbus Department of Parks and Recreation. Our senior center is a lively place that brings together older adults who want to be engaged in their community and peers.  Our senior center provides the activities that older adults need to be healthy, happy and as independent as they can be. 

Marion-Franklin Community Opportunity Center: 2740 Lockbourne Road: Offers G.E.D., ESOL, & Computer skills, and Secretary training. Additional adult courses include: Entrepreneur Class. There is also a computer lab. Call 614- 365-5414  http://www.ccsoh.us/Marion-FranklinOpportunityCenter.aspx Produce give-a-ways and the Lutheran Social Services Benefit Bank is also housed in the community center. The Benefit Bank helps residents with utility assistance, free tax service, help in enrolling for SNAP benefits. and a community resource information desk.

Watkins Elementary School: 1520 Watkins Road: Home of the “Watkins Bumble Bees”. Grades Pre K-5, their mission is to “provide a challenging, student-centered curriculum with effective structural strategies in a safe an stimulating learning environment”. In May of 2016,  the State Board of Education presented Watkins with the Momentum Award for receiving A’s on every value-added measure included on Ohio’s School Report Card. 

Marion-Franklin High School: 1265 Koebel Road: Established in 1953. Mascot; “Red Devils”. Grades 9-12, their mission is to “foster an academic and student-activity rich environment with emphasis on preparation for college, career, and community service for all stakeholders on the South Side of Columbus, Ohio”.  

Columbus Metropolitan Library Marion-Franklin Branch, 2740 Lockbourne Road: Opened in September of 2014, this is the newest addition to our community. From the summer meal program for youth, to the great response from our residence. THIS library is wonderful.
